This Marvel Comics T-Shirt features Karnak and guest stars some other Superheroes and the god of mischief. From the upper left are Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, The Incredible Hulk, Black Widow, Hawkeye, Falcon, Spider-Man, Ant Man, Daredevil, Black Bolt, Luke Cage, Black Panther, Iron Fist, Karnak, Dr. Strange, Nova, and Loki.
Now you may be wondering why in the world would this t-shirt that features mostly A and B list heroes feature Karnak? Where are the X-Men and Fantastic Four, for example?
Way back in the '90s before the Mouse House took over, Marvel sold the movie rights for X-Men and Fantastic Four to Fox. That contract is still in effect and now that Disney owns Marvel they don't want to promote the Fox controlled properties with merchandise. So even though multiple X-Men and every Fantastic Four member would be better suited than Karnak, Karnak is what you get. Thanks a lot corporate synergy!
But we think you might as well embrace it. You can now have a shirt with a guy with a '70s porn mustache and who in many incarnations has a phallic shaped head. And little kids will think it's cool.
Plus, if you meet anyone on the street who can properly identify that person you know that this person is either likely to be your best friend or someone you may need to take a restraining order out on. In either scenario it's a positive.
That's why we've embraced it, and decided to feature Karnak prominently in the title of the product. So, get yourself a shirt with Karnak on it already.
